Refund policy

At FreshReads, we want you to love your order. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

14-day returns

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be:

In the same brand-new, unused condition you received it — unread, unmarked, and undamaged, with any original shrink-wrap or packaging intact
Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

Items that show signs of use (creased spines, writing, folded pages, or removed packaging) may not qualify for a full refund.

How to start a return

Email us at bookshelftreasures01@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll reply with return instructions and the return address.

Please don't send items back before contacting us — returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return shipping

Unless your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect (see below), return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. We recommend a tracked service, as we can't be responsible for items lost in return transit.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong title, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo. We'll arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping — at no cost to you.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take additional time to appear on your statement.

Original shipping charges (where applicable) are non-refundable, except for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different title is to return your item for a refund and place a new order. If you'd like help arranging an exchange, just email us.

Non-returnable items

Gift cards and any items marked "final sale" cannot be returned or refunded.
