These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of freshreads.shop and any purchase you make from FreshReads ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who may use this site

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method you select.

2. Our products

Every book we sell is brand-new — never used, never ex-library. We describe our products as accurately as we can, but please note:

• Cover images are illustrative. Publishers reissue titles with new cover art, and the edition you receive may have a different cover from the image shown.
• Editions and printings may vary. Where an ISBN is listed, that is the edition we intend to supply. If we cannot supply it, we will contact you before dispatch.
• Minor variations in trim size, binding or paper stock between printings are normal and are not defects.

Availability is not guaranteed until your order is accepted. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will notify you and refund that item in full.

3. Prices and currency

All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD). If you view prices in another currency on our site, those figures are an approximate conversion for guidance only — your payment will be taken in USD, and your bank or card issuer will apply its own exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fees.

We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout.

We take care to price accurately, but errors occasionally occur. If we discover a material pricing or description error affecting your order, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch. We will always contact you first.

4. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we send you a dispatch confirmation — not when you receive the order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where we suspect fraud, where an item is mispriced or unavailable, or where an order appears to be for resale in breach of these Terms. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

5. Payment

We accept major credit and debit cards and PayPal. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details on our systems.

By submitting payment information, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method and that sufficient funds are available.

6. Shipping and delivery

Delivery destinations, costs and timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country.

7. Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy sets out your right to return items within 14 days of delivery and forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Bulk and wholesale orders

Bulk and wholesale purchases may be subject to separate terms, pricing and lead times agreed in writing. Contact contact@freshreads.shop to discuss bulk enquiries.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use this site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the site's operation or security;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract data from the site without our written permission;
• submit false, abusive or misleading content, including in reviews or messages.

We may suspend or terminate access to our site for any breach of these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

The FreshReads name, logo, site design, original text and layout are our property and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

Book cover images, titles, descriptions and author names remain the property of their respective publishers and rights holders, and are used here for the purpose of identifying and selling the products concerned.

11. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.

12. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

13. Disclaimers

Our site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties except those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability
